Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my official website. We are in the process of adding lots of new stuff – particularly archive photos and expanding the FAQ section. Two albums that have been hard to find in the USA are available here as downloads with artwork – – The Time Machine and On Air. All the latest Alan Parsons Project compilation CDs and Expanded Editions can be purchased directly from us when you click on ‘shop’ above.

Our upcoming concerts and other appearances will always be up to date under the ‘live’ button above.

My best to you all and I hope to see you soon.

Alan is busy in various California video and audio studios nearing the end of filming his newest project with his partner in crime, Julian Colbeck, called The Art And Science Of Sound Recording. The DVD looks at the whole process of recording - from pre-production, gear, arrangements, tracking, mixing, and more – from the twin perspectives of someone who was ‘there then’ (multi-million dollar recording studios and budgets the size of small European countries) and is still ‘here now’ (sophisticated computer-based environments you can set up in your living room). With just a few weeks of editing, narration and final touches to be completed, the 3-DVD set is due for release in mid summer 2009.  Check out www.artandscienceofsound.com.

The DVD set will be sold on this website and also worldwide through audio dealers and Audio schools. Hundreds of audio enthusiasts have already placed orders. You can do the same at the website above. A brand new track penned by Alan was recorded specially for the project with an array of great musicians, including Nathan East on bass, Simon Philips on drums, Tim Pearce on guitar and Rami Jaffe on keyboards. Alan anticipates the vocals will be a shared effort between PJ and himself. It will also appear on his next studio album, although Alan says, "That's a good way off"

P.S. For an interesting read check out a blog entry about Alan's early days at the 'Coffin Club'.
