ALASTAIR GREENE : Lead Guitar/Vocals

Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Alastair Greene was born April 18th, 1971 in Santa Barbara, CA and has been a mainstay of the Southern California music scene for over two decades. He discovered music through his mother's piano playing at home and whose record collection included classics by The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and Elton John, while his father's tastes at the time leaned toward Bach and Beethoven. Alastair was inspired to pursue music as a career by his grandfather, the late Chico Alvarez, who played trumpet as a member of the Stan Kenton Band in the '40s and '50s. Growing up, Alastair took piano lessons and played the saxophone before discovering the guitar in High School. He received a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied for two years before returning to southern California to begin playing with Blues and Rock bands in the early ‘90s. Alastair is best known for his blues-based, soulful, and melodic guitar playing and is one of the rare-breed to play slide guitar. He can be heard on CDs by Alan Parsons (2004 release ‘A Valid Path'); Aynsley Dunbar (2008 release ‘Mutiny'); and Blues harmonica legend and member of WAR, Mitch Kashmar (2005 release 'Wake Up and Worry'). Alastair has put out five of his own CDs and is working on his sixth. He has also appeared on countless independent CD releases ranging from Blues and Folk to Southern Rock and Heavy Metal. Alastair continues to record and perform with his own band, as well as with the Alan Parsons Live Project. Find out more at www.agsongs.com

In his early twenties, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. He started performing and recording and was asked to join the teaching staff of LAMA (Los Angeles Music Academy) alongside Alphonso Johnson, Ralph Humphrey and Frank Gambale.

Guy soon built his first studio and became active as a songwriter and producer. His songwriting talent drew the attention of Chrysalis Music Publishing who signed him to a publishing deal.

P.J. OLSSON: Vocals

P.J. grew up in Houghton, Michigan and has been singing and making music as long as he can remember. He started playing violin at age 6. With a father who conducted an orchestra, he ended up taking music very seriously....that is until he realized you could sing words over one sixteenth the amount of chords and impress girls! His journey of inspiration took him through many odd situations and record deals. He has three released albums, which enjoyed varying degrees of attention, although he maintains he is proud of all of them. "One record got me on LETTERMAN, in NEWSWEEK, USA TODAY, ROLLING STONE, and a bunch of others too", says PJ. "Visine", a song taken from this album, was  Hightimes Magazine  song of the year. P.J. has performed alongside Rufus Wainright, Beth Orton, Bob Geldof, The The, DJ Spooky,Ben Harper, Nelly Furtado, The Twilight Singers, Train, Michelle Branch, The Flys and many more. When he's not working on his own music, he produces and writes for other artists and writes songs for movies, TV, and advertising. He started singing with Alan Parsons Live Project in mid 2003, and has been collaborating recently with Alan on his latest album. He now lives in Los Angeles. "The most important thing in my life is looking after my three kids and my wonderful wife", he says. "I live a simple life of hope and fun... music and words rule my every moment, and I'm sort of along for the ride".

MANNY FOCARAZZO: Keyboards/Backing vocals

Emanuel Focarazzo was born in 1967 in Brooklyn New York. He is a descendant of a musical lineage that has lasted generations. His grandfather, Charles Orlando, was a professional piano player whose work included silent films in the early 1900's. He grew up listening to his mother Vincenza at the piano playing all the great songs from the early 1900's to post World War 2 Americana. At an early age Manny would sit at the piano and compose songs and melodies of his own. Playing the piano as a child came naturally but he didn't take any formal lessons until his mid teens. His training lasted into college and he graduated with a music degree from Adelphi University under the guidance of David Bradshaw leading to three performances including his own compositions at Carnegie Hall at the age of 16. More recently Manny has worked with numerous bands in New York and he continues to perform all styles of music in many of New York's greatest music venues. His first love is composition and a current project is what could become a Broadway Musical - centered around post-war Coney Island. Another project is a progressive rock conceptual work with repetitive yet evocative melodic and lyrical themes. The keyboards are the driving force in this piece and Emanuel prefers to use traditional analog sounds to tell the story. His contribution as keyboardist with the latest incarnation of The Alan Parsons Live Project is, to say the least, extraordinary.

GODFREY TOWNSEND: Lead Guitar/Vocals

Godfrey Townsend was born in Manhattan on October 18 th , 1956. He started playing piano at the age of 9 and quickly took up the guitar after hearing The Beatles. He formed various bands in grammar school and high school. After a stint in Las Vegas working with Mitch Ryder, Spencer Davis and Joey Molland of Badfinger, he was recruited by John Entwistle of The Who, with whom he performed half a dozen tours, a studio album and a live album. Godfrey went on to play with Alan Parsons, Todd Rundgren, Ann Wilson of Heart, Jack Bruce, Mark Farner, Christopher Cross and Dave Mason. His Eric Clapton tribute band has wowed audiences at BB King's for the past 2 years and he continues as a truly classic rock guitarist and vocalist.
